3D printing

In the last decade, 3D printing technology has undergone a major development at industrial level and even at the domestic level. This large growth is mainly due to its convenience; that is, speed, simplicity of use and low price. In addition, it is a very versatile and useful technology in many sectors, both in manufacturing prototypes for architecture, shoes or jewelry, for example, and in the design of end pieces for construction, automotive, medical industries, industrial design, etc.

Graphene and other nanomaterials may play an important role in the manufacture of end use products with 3D printing, due to the addition of improved properties. For example, they can increase the mechanical properties or conductivity of the filament for 3D printing, depending on its final application.

Applynano has developed two types of filament for 3D printing with graphene: a PET filament with improved mechanical strength and a conductive filament made with PLA. We can also provide other filaments to suit our customer needs.
